Cold conditions and coastal showers forecasted for KwaZulu-Natal this weekend, as strong winds batter the coastline.
South Africans can expect a largely dry but chilly weekend, with cold conditions persisting across much of the country while scattered coastal showers continue to affect parts of the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.
On Friday, most inland provinces, including Gauteng, the Free State, North West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga, will remain fine and cool, with morning frost in places over Gauteng and cold conditions dominating the central interior.
Temperatures will be slightly warmer in the far northern parts of Limpopo and Gauteng.
The Western Cape will wake up to cloudy skies, fog patches and light rain along the south-eastern coastline before conditions improve later in the day. The Eastern Cape will experience isolated showers and rain along coastal areas and adjacent interiors during the morning, with a 30% chance of rainfall, before clearing from the afternoon.
