A 64-year-old from Nelspruit arrested for strangling his 18-year-old female friend death.
A 64-year-old man has been arrested for strangling his 18-year-old female friend to death in Wakkerstroom, Mpumalanga.
The suspect reportedly went to the Community Service Centre (CSC) and confessed to killing his female friend by strangling her at his home.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, police accompanied the suspect to his home in Hlobisa Section, Esizameleni, Wakkerstroom.
Ndubane said: “Upon arrival, the suspect directed them to the room where the naked body of the deceased was found under the bedding, with her clothing placed over her to cover her private parts and face.”
