Human rights activist and publisher of SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore, has revealed that Nigeria's Vice President, Kashim Shettima, once served as a "citizen reporter" for SaharaReporters during Shettima's tenure as governor of Borno State.
Sowore made the revelation during an interview on the PAP programme, where he also accused Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, describing him as "an aspiring propagandist" and "not even a good liar."

When asked about his relationship with Vice President Shettima, Sowore said he had only met him "once or twice by accident," before disclosing what he described as a revelation.
