The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed a local heat network engineer in the Donetsk region who coordinated Russian missile, bomb, and drone strikes on Sloviansk.
According to Ukrinform, the SSU reported this.
The investigation revealed that the man was simultaneously collaborating with the Russian Federal Security Service and the aggressor country’s military intelligence (better known as the GRU). He was recruited through a Telegram channel administered by an employee of the Smolensk Military Hospital. The woman was in contact with both Russian intelligence agencies, which tasked her with finding “candidates” for their agent network.
It has been established that after his recruitment, the utility worker traveled around the frontline city and its surroundings under the pretext of work trips to identify the locations of Ukrainian Defense Forces and pass them on to the Russians for new strikes against the community.
The suspect stored photos and videos containing the coordinates of Ukrainian targets on his smartphones for subsequent transmission to Russian representatives.
