BOLINAO, Pangasinan – The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources turned over on Thursday a 62-footer Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Handline Boat to a group of marginal fishermen here that would enable them to fish in commercial waters.
The Barredo Fishermen Association (BFA) also received six auxiliary utility boats locally called pakura and handline fishing gear and other boat accessories from the Ilocos Region office of BFAR.
