Collector N. Mirunalini on Wednesday inspected the functioning of an anganwadi centre at Kadugur near here.She checked various details including the number of children visiting the anganwadi centre and whether they were being weighed regularly. She also checked the number of children receiving monthly complementary food items, the number of children being given eggs, the number of children eating midday meals and others. She enquired about the timing of complementary foods, and the timing of pre-school education to the children.Ms. Mirunali directed the staff members of the anganwadi centre to provide nutritious food to children properly, maintain the weight of children. The children should be given proper care.Later, the Collector inspected the learning abilities of the students studying at Kopiliankudikadu Panchayat Union Primary School.
