Ask ChatGPT who’s going to win the World Cup and you’ll now get something more interesting than a hedge. OpenAI has quietly started surfacing real-time prediction market odds from Kalshi directly in ChatGPT search results, giving users implied probabilities for 2026 FIFA World Cup matches alongside traditional search answers.
The integration, which first appeared during user queries on July 13-14, represents OpenAI’s first known deal with a prediction market platform. Neither OpenAI nor Kalshi has publicly detailed the financial terms of the arrangement, or really said much about it at all.
What the integration actually looks like
When users search for World Cup matchups in ChatGPT, they now see Kalshi’s implied probabilities displayed alongside results. A query about France versus Spain, for example, might show France at 60% odds to win.
You can’t actually bet through ChatGPT. The integration is purely informational, with explicit disclaimers making that clear.
