The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reported on Monday, July 13, citing the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teacher Trade Associations, that Shokrollah Ahmadi, a teachers’ rights activist and an inspector for the council in Noorabad Mamasani, has been sentenced to three years, seven months, and 15 days in prison.

According to the report, a judicial authority in Noorabad Mamasani sentenced Ahmadi to three years in prison on the charge of “assembly and collusion to commit crimes against internal and external security” and to seven months and 15 days in prison for “propaganda activities against the regime.”

Shokrollah Ahmadi was arrested last December in connection with the 2025 nationwide protests in Mamasani County and was later released on bail pending the conclusion of his judicial proceedings.

Ahmadi is a prominent teachers’ rights activist in Fars Province and serves as an inspector for the Coordinating Council of Iranian Teacher Trade Associations. He has previously faced judicial and security crackdowns due to his labour activism.
