London Remley is taking her shot on the world stage
A Reddam House Umhlanga student is set to represent South Africa on the international stage after earning selection for the national team competing at the World Aquatics Women’s U16 Water Polo Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, from July 25 to 31.
London Remley has been selected as part of South Africa’s U16 women’s water polo squad, placing her among the country’s top young players and marking a major milestone in her sporting journey.
For London, learning she had been selected was an unforgettable moment.
“At first, I was surprised and I genuinely could not believe it, but definitely a lot of excitement,” she said. “It is definitely an honour to represent my country.”
