London Remley
London Remley is set to represent South Africa at the World Aquatics Women’s U16 Water Polo Championships, aiming to make her family and school proud.
The 15-year-old was selected for the national team that will compete in the championships in Zagreb, Croatia, from July 25 to 31.
London, a Grade 10 pupil at Reddam House Umhlanga, said she was initially surprised when she learned of her selection.
“I genuinely could not believe it, but there was definitely a lot of excitement. It is an honour to represent my country," said London, who added that she thrived in competitions and was eager to test herself against international opposition.
