Since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have launched 69 attacks on the positions of Ukraine's Defense Forces, concentrating their main efforts on the Sloviansk and Pokrovsk sectors.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the operational situation on Facebook as of 16:00 on Sunday, July 12, according to Ukrinform.
Russian artillery shelled the settlements of Korenok, Seredyna-Buda, Khliborob, Tovstodubove, Neskuchne, Ulanove, Volfyne, Ryzhivka, Hirky, and Sopych in Sumy Region, as well as Liady in Chernihiv Region. Airstrikes targeted Volfyne, Vilna Sloboda, and Ulanove.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk fronts, Russian forces launched three assaults on Ukrainian positions and carried out 36 artillery attacks, including four using multiple-launch rocket systems.
