The Russian army has attacked the positions of Ukraine's Defense Forces 71 times since the beginning of the day, with the largest number of battles taking place on the Pokrovsk axis.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, publishing operational information as of 16:00 on Saturday, July 4, Ukrinform reports.
The General Staff noted that artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today in the Sumy region, the settlements of Neskuchne, Bachivsk, Bezsalivka, Rohizne, Sopych, Pavlivka, Kharkivka, Volfyne, and Korienok were affected; in the Chernihiv region - Klyusy. Mala Slobidka was hit by an airstrike.

On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, there was one clash. The invaders carried out 21 strikes on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops.
