His passing has left us deeply saddened. We mourn the loss of a dedicated leader, a committed revolutionary, a compassionate medical doctor, and a loyal cadre of our movement. Yet, even in our sorrow, we are comforted by the remarkable legacy he leaves behind—a legacy built on service, humility, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others.
Dr. Mahlaba understood that leadership was never about personal recognition. For him, leadership meant serving those who depended on us most. It meant standing with the poor, restoring dignity to the vulnerable, and ensuring that every South African have access to quality healthcare and a better future.
