Dr Ntuthuko Mahlaba, a dedicated ANC leader, is remembered for his contributions to the community.
During a session of remembrance, Sizophila Mkhize, chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts and Culture, delivered a heartfelt tribute to the late Ntuthuko Mahlaba, a former MEC for Sports, Arts and Culture and Member of the Provincial Legislature (MPL) in KwaZulu-Natal.
Mkhize was speaking at the ANC caucus meeting at the KZN Legislature on Tuesday.
Mahlaba, 44, was a senior ANC leader and former Newcastle Mayor who was killed on Saturday (July 4) after being fatally struck by a vehicle while out jogging in his hometown of Newcastle.
Mkhize’s words resonated deeply with those present as she reflected on the performance and impact of Mahlaba's leadership.
