Junior Springbok centre Markus Muller is back in the starting lineup and will pair up with Ethan Adams for the semi-final clash against England.
The Junior Springboks are battle-ready for their Junior World Championship semi-final against England on Monday in Georgia.
Following three tough pool-stage clashes, head coach Kevin Foote believes his side received the perfect preparation for what lies ahead. Now, England stand between the defending champions and a second successive final in the U20 tournament.
Knowing the monumental task that awaits at the Avchala Stadium in Tbilisi (6.30pm kick-off), Foote has made only minor tweaks to the side that secured the ‘quarter-final’ victory over Wales this past week, keeping the core of the pack intact. He has brought in No 8 Gert Kemp and flanker Kebotile Maake to bolster the forwards, while fullback Luan Giliomee and outside centre Markus Muller add fresh impetus to the backline.
According to Foote, they had to make some tough selection decisions, but believe this is the best 23-man squad to withstand the English onslaught.
