Junior Springbok centre Ethan Adams goes over for one of the tries against Wales in the final pool clash of the Junior World Championship in Tbilisi on Tuesday.
The Junior Springboks got their first taste of knockout rugby against Wales in their final pool clash at the Junior World Championship in Georgia on Tuesday.
Now the challenge intensifies as they face England in the semi-final, chasing a place in the final and a first-ever back-to-back victory in the U20 Championship. Wales provided the perfect glimpse of what awaits them in the 52-33 win, and that same determination and composure will be required if they are to book their place in the title decider.
After a passive start against the Welsh, the Junior Boks grew into the contest and showed plenty of composure, much like the senior Springboks did against England in the Nations Championship this past weekend, to close out the encounter.
Now they can draw confidence from their own performance, as well as inspiration from the world champions, heading into another showdown with England. New Zealand and France will contest the other semi-final.
