Every Friday, our deals experts set aside their usual affinities for finding discounts to search the web for the week’s best product drops. After all, there are so many new product releases that it’s hard to know what’s worth caring about, let alone worth buying. That’s why we round up a short list of our favorites from the last seven days.
This week, our editors are highlighting our favorite launches from iRobot, Lego and Shark. Senior deals editor Rikka Altland checks into a new wave of Lego Pokémon sets and takes a closer look iRobot’s first-ever non-robotic floor cleaner. Deals editor Jacqueline Saguin explains why Shark’s FlexStyle IonCurl Styling System is such a big deal for those with curly hair. All that and more below.
Headlining this week’s best product drops is a new collection of Lego Pokémon sets. The two companies first collaborated back at the beginning of the year to kick off the 30th anniversary celebration of the Pokémon franchise, and now to join the massive display kit of the three Kanto starters and a wave of Smart Play sets, there are six new models to assemble. These largely focus on delivering builds that can be displayed amongst other collectibles, with massive models that reimagine iconic items like the Poké Ball, Legendary Pokémon like Rayquaza and even Professor Oak as Lego sets.
