Every Friday, our deals experts set aside their usual affinities for finding discounts to search the web for the week’s best product drops. After all, there are so many new product releases that it’s hard to know what’s worth caring about, let alone worth buying. That’s why we round up a short list of our favorites from the last seven days.

This week, our editors are highlighting our favorite launches from Bose, Insta360 and Satechi. Senior deals editor Rikka Altland investigates why Bose is charging an extra $10 for its new second-generation QuietComfort Headphones and takes a closer look at a more portable desktop charger from Satechi. She also covers how Insta360 improved its latest 360-degree camera and checks in with deals editor Jacqueline Saguin to recap the week’s other best product launches in the beauty realm, like a first-of-its-kind Urban Decay powder setting spray and a vibrating flat iron at Pattern Beauty.

A more comfortable design adds better ANC, immersive audio and new colors

The flagship Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones are some of the best over-ears around for those who want reliable active noise cancellation and are also willing to pay for it. With a $429 MSRP, these premium headphones clearly aren’t for everyone. While there are tons of other, more affordable alternatives that CNN Underscored editors can recommend, Bose wants to make sure it’s still part of that conversation by upgrading its entry-level headset. This week, it began shipping the new Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) with some upgrades over the original version that first launched three years ago.
