The biggest decision in South African football no longer belongs to Hugo Broos.
It belongs to Safa.
It was initially reported that Broos had confirmed to a Belgian publication that he will not continue as Bafana Bafana head coach beyond his current spell, while expressing his willingness to remain involved in an advisory or technical capacity, Broos has effectively started the countdown towards one of the most significant coaching appointments in the country’s football history.
However, the association later refuted that claim but the fact remains, the governing body still has a decision to make on the way forward of national teams.
