Three people have been arrested in Thessaloniki for allegedly attacking and robbing pedestrians overnight in the northern port city’s center, authorities said Friday.
A police statement said the two men and a woman, aged 28-42, were taken into custody early Thursday by officers patrolling the city center after three attacks in close succession.
In one case, a woman who had her bank card stolen required hospital treatment for injuries the suspects allegedly caused her. Police said two men were also set upon and had their mobile phones stolen.
