Suraan Windvogel is was found dead in Athlone.
The family of murdered engineer Suraan Windvogel have broken their silence after her body was found wrapped in a black bag and dumped Athlone.
Her sister Shanaaz Windvogel described her sister as a quiet, sweet person who never spoke badly about anyone and enjoyed playing with her nephews and nieces. The 31-year-old, who battled bipolar disorder, had always dreamt of having her own children own day. Shanaaz said her sister was selfless and who would give her last to anyone who needed it.
Suraan's life took a turn for the worse when her mother died in 2016. According to Shanaaz, her sister never spoke about her feelings and struggled to cope with the loss of their mother and then a failed relationship.
