Nexus Data Centers has filed to develop a second planned data center in Texas.The company recently filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to develop a second data center building at 357 HCR 3372 in Hubbard in Hill County.Nexus Apex HB2 is set to span 491,380 sq ft (45,650 sqm). Construction on the $400 million project is set to run from June 2026 to January 2028.Hubbard is located south of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and northeast of Waco.Nexus Data Centers is a data center developer backed by Transition Equity Partners.News that Nexus was targeting a 600MW natural gas-powered data center in Hubbard surfaced in December.The company filed to develop the first building last month.
