Data center developer Edged has outlined plans for a new facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

The company filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to develop a new facility at 9999 Chapin School Road in Fort Worth, Tarrant County.

The project – listed as Edged Energy Outpost – is described as a 488,770 sq ft (45,410 sqm) data center.

Development on the $300 million project is set to run from July 2026 to December 2027.

News that Edged was interested in a project in Fort Worth surfaced last year, with the company acquiring 186 acres from PMB Investment. The company has filed with the local planning commission but few details of the development have emerged.
