Rashed Emami and Shler Modirzadeh, a married couple residing in Paveh, were arrested on Monday, July 6, by Intelligence Department forces in the city and transferred to an unknown location.
HRANA reported that Intelligence Department agents initially entered the couple’s home and arrested 33-year-old Rashed Emami. A few hours later, they returned to the residence and arrested Shler Modirzadeh using physical violence.
According to the report, the arrests of these two citizens were carried out without the presentation of a judicial warrant. As of now, no information has been released regarding their place of detention, the reasons for their arrest, or any potential charges against them.
Rashed Emami has a prior history of arrest and confrontation with security agencies due to his activities. However, specific details regarding his previous cases have not been published.
In recent months, numerous reports have emerged regarding the arrest of citizens, particularly in Kurdish provinces, by security agencies and their subsequent transfer to undisclosed locations. In many of these cases, the families of the detainees remain uninformed about the whereabouts and status of their loved ones for extended periods, while security agencies do not explain the reasons for the detentions.
