Sara Rashidi Kachalanlou, a 33-year-old Kurdish citizen from Maku, has been subjected to enforced disappearance since her arrest during the January protests in Kermanshah. Over seven months later, her family remains entirely unaware of her fate and whereabouts.
According to a report by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, Sara Rashidi Kachalanlou was arrested on January 11 in a passenger vehicle near Kermanshah by agents of the IRGC Intelligence Organization. The agents carried out the arrest without presenting a judicial warrant and subsequently transferred her to the IRGC Intelligence Organization’s “Nabi Akram” detention center at Naft Square in Kermanshah.
Since her transfer to this facility, no information has emerged regarding her status, whereabouts, or condition.
Over the past several months, her family has repeatedly inquired about her situation with security agencies and judicial authorities in Kermanshah, but they have yet to receive a clear answer regarding her fate or location.
