Child charity “The Smile of the Child” issued an amber alert on Tuesday for a 13-year-old boy who went missing from a shelter for unaccompanied minors in the village of Makrinitsa, on Mount Pelion, central Greece.
The charity said it was informed by the authorities that the boy, Yasin Alsenawy, disappeared on Sunday (July 5). He is 1.50 m tall, thin, has brown hair and brown eyes and on the day he disappeared he was wearing jeans, a white T-shirt and black sneakers.
The alert was issued as the boy’s life might be in danger, it added.
The “Smile of the Child” calls on anyone who has any information to alert the police or the charity.
