Defense Minister Nikos Dendias on Saturday took to social media to congratulate the United States on the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, highlighting the longstanding ties between the two NATO allies.
In a post on X, Dendias extended his “warm wishes” to the US government and people, saying Greek-American relations are strong and rooted in the two nations’ struggles for freedom and their enduring commitment to shared values.
He added that the thriving Greek-American community serves as a vital link between Greece and the United States.
