Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized one Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missile and 82 drones used by Russian forces in an overnight attack that began on the evening of July 2.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Beginning at 18:00 on Thursday, July 2, Russia launched two Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles from the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region and 105 attack drones, including jet-powered Shahed drones, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones. The drones were launched from Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo in Russia, and the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk.
The aerial attack was repelled by Ukraine's Air Force, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.
