Air defense forces neutralized one Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missile and 69 drones of various types that Russian forces used to attack Ukraine from the evening of July 17.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force Command reported this on Facebook.

During the night of July 18, from 6:00 p.m. on July 17, the Russians attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea, two Oniks anti-ship missiles from Crimea, three Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles from the airspace of temporarily occupied Crimea, and 90 Shahed strike drones, including jet-powered drones, Gerbera drones, Italmas drones, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parody-type decoy drones launched from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, occupied Donetsk, and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.

The main direction of the strike was the Odesa region.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
