Air defense neutralized two guided air-launched missiles and 154 drones that Russian forces used to attack Ukraine from the evening of July 22. Eleven enemy targets hit locations in several areas.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
As noted, since 18:00 on Wednesday, July 22, Russian forces launched one Iskander-M ballistic missile, five Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles, and 168 strike drones of the Shahed type, including jet-powered drones, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parody-type decoy drones.
The missiles were launched from temporarily occupied Crimea, while the drones were launched from areas near the Russian cities of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the temporarily occupied areas of Hvardiiske in Crimea and Donetsk.
The enemy attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
