Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 139 drones launched by Russian forces during a large-scale overnight attack that began on the evening of July 7.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the details on Telegram.

Starting at 18:00 on July 7, Russian forces launched two Kh-31P anti-radiation missiles from the Black Sea, five Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea and Russia's Bryansk region, and 169 aerial attack drones, including Shahed loitering munitions (including jet-powered variants), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones.

The drones were launched from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo in Russia, as well as temporarily occupied Donetsk and the Crimean locations of Hvardiiske and Chauda.

The air attack was repelled by Ukrainian Air Force aircraft, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
