Oluwasanmi and four other former Alpha-Beta employees are being prosecuted over reports concerning alleged corruption within the tax consulting company, which has long been linked to President Bola Tinubu.
The Youth Rights Campaign (YRC) has condemned the ongoing persecution of Oluwasegun Oluwasanmi, former Auditor of Alpha-Beta Consulting LLP, a firm long linked to President Bola Tinubu, accusing the Nigeria Police Force and the judiciary of being deployed to silence a whistleblower instead of investigating serious allegations of corruption, tax evasion and forgery against the company.
Oluwasanmi and four other former Alpha-Beta employees are being prosecuted over reports concerning alleged corruption within the tax consulting company, which has long been linked to President Bola Tinubu.
SaharaReporters on Tuesday reported that Alpha-Beta initiated criminal proceedings against the five former employees, including the CDHR Media Officer Oluwasanmi.
The five are being prosecuted by the Nigerian government, acting on behalf of Alpha-Beta, before the Federal High Court in Lagos over alleged cybercrime offences linked to SaharaReporters' publications on corruption allegations involving some officials of the company.
