Oluwasanmi described the alleged defamatory publication as a calculated attempt to assassinate his character and discredit his corruption allegations against the company.

Mr. Oluwasegun Akanbi Oluwasanmi, a former employee of Alpha-Beta Consulting LLP, a tax consulting firm linked to President Bola Tinubu, has threatened to sue the company for N200million over an alleged defamatory publication, accusing it of falsely portraying him as a dismissed staff member with a documented history of misconduct, insubordination, and bad-faith disclosure of confidential information.

Oluwasanmi described the alleged defamatory publication as a calculated attempt to assassinate his character and discredit his corruption allegations against the company.

In a pre-action letter dated July 27, 2026, and addressed to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Alpha-Beta Consulting LLP, the former employee, through his lawyer, Mobolaji Akintunde, demanded a retraction of the alleged defamatory publication, public apology, compensation, and other remedies.

He warned that legal proceedings would commence if the company failed to comply within 14 days
