Ukraine's defence forces struck the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Russian town of Kstovo in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and a railway bridge in temporarily occupied Stanytsia Luhanska in Luhansk Oblast on the night of 1-2 July.

Quote: "A successful strike on the refinery was confirmed, followed by a fire on the facility's premises. Early reports indicate that the AVT-6 primary oil refining unit was hit. The extent of the damage is being assessed."
