Laumua o Punaoa Methodist Training Creative Centre has been named the overall winner of the PAS Pacific and Australia Skills Exhibition, after securing victories in three major trade categories during the competition held last week.

The Pacific Australia Skills (PAS) event featured five trade competitions, including Plumbing, Carpentry and Joinery, Electrical Engineering, Fine Arts, and Kitchen Operations, bringing together students from across the region to demonstrate their technical and vocational abilities.

School principal Reverend Selau Asiata said the achievement reflects the strength of the school’s training programs and its growing partnership with PAS.

“Laumua o Punaoa Methodist Training Creative Centre emerged as the overall winner of the PAS Pacific & Australia Skills Exhibition held last week,” Asiata said. “The school participated wholeheartedly in the competition and demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the event.”

Laumua o Punaoa achieved major success by winning three trade categories: Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing, and Electrical Engineering, showcasing strong performance in core technical fields.
