The Pacific Strongest 2026 competition concluded Saturday in Apia after two days of intense events that tested the strength, endurance and resilience of athletes from across the region.
The event, held behind the Central Bank of Samoa from 26–27 June, featured competitors across multiple men’s and women’s divisions and was organised by Strongman Samoa under the leadership of event organiser Misa Peter Anae, who helped bring international strongman athletes to Samoa.
The competition followed the 2025 edition, where Jarna Mihaere won the Men’s Open title and Evangeline Taylor-Pati claimed the Women’s division crown, setting the stage for this year’s expanded field and rising level of competition.
In the Men’s categories, Albert Ladewing won gold in the U90 division, with Daniel Lambert taking silver and Steven Harper earning bronze.
In the Masters Men’s division, Tohi Tali secured gold, while Moala Siliva took silver.
