The next phase of Greece’s Digital Labor Card plan took effect on Monday, expanding the system to additional sectors as part of the government’s efforts to strengthen labor market transparency and combat undeclared work.
The latest rollout covers consulting services, advertising and other office-based activities, repair services, warehousing and logistics operations, water and wastewater management, as well as the gambling sector.
The new phase will run on a pilot basis until November 15, with full implementation scheduled to begin after that. As with previous expansions of the system, authorities will conduct extensive consultations with industry representatives during the pilot period to fine-tune implementation and address the specific operational needs of each sector.
