Employers will be able to cover emergency needs with hirings at the tap of a button, using the new platform of the Labor Ministry, even through their cellphone.
This is the implementation of the option the labor law for fast-track recruitment introduced by minister Niki Kerameus offers, with fixed-term employment contracts for emergency and unforeseen business needs.
Through the platform, employers will be able to electronically declare the basic terms of employment before the start of work. Subsequently, employees will immediately receive a notification on htheir cellphone via the myErgani application and will be asked to digitally accept the job offer.
Upon completion of the acceptance, the recruitment process will be considered complete, without requiring the time-consuming procedures that are currently in force.
In practice, not only the announcement of the start of work but also the declaration of digital organization of working time, as well as the announcement of the termination of the contract are replaced by a cellphone app, where the online notification and its digital acceptance by the employee suffice.
