The Labor Ministry is preparing to activate a new digital platform, named “Fast Recruitment,” in the coming days, just as the labor market is recording historically high hiring performance and tourism businesses are looking for staff in anticipation of the peak of the summer season.
This is a new fast-track recruitment tool, which will allow covering emergency staff needs for up to two days a week, even on holidays and weekends, via a mobile app.
“Fast Recruitment” is one of the key interventions of the ministry for the further digitalization of labor processes and the reduction of bureaucracy.
The activation of the new app comes at a time when recruitment is already at particularly high levels. According to the data of the Ergani database, in April alone, 352,335 recruitment announcements were made, while the recruitment-resignation balance was positive by 145,209 jobs, a performance that is the highest ever recorded for the month of April since 2001.
In the first quarter of 2026, recruitments reached 993,189, creating a net balance of 200,113 new jobs, the best performance of the first quarter of the last 25 years.
