MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) arrested two individuals for an alleged illegal recruitment scheme in Pasig City, the unit said on Monday.
In a statement, the CIDG said its Anti-Transnational Crime Unit caught the suspects inside a fast food restaurant along Concepcion Avenue in Barangay San Joaquin last Wednesday afternoon.
The CIDG identified the two arrested suspects as a woman with the alias “Andeng” and a man with the alias “Angel,” both of whom were Taguig City residents.
