African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has said that the greatest opposition to his presidential ambition is not any political rival but what he described as widespread political ignorance among Nigerians.

Sowore made the remark during an interview with journalist Bukola Adebayo on The Manifesto programme. He later shared an excerpt of the yet-to-be-aired interview on his X account on Sunday.

Asked who he considered his greatest opposition in the race for the presidency, Sowore responded with a single word: "Ignorance."

Explaining his response, the former presidential candidate argued that Nigeria's education system has failed to equip citizens with the critical thinking needed to make informed political decisions.
