The 2023 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has reaffirmed his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election.
In an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, Sowore confirmed he remains in the race, stating that his party will hold its primaries next week.
When asked whether he would be the sole candidate, the activist deferred the decision to the party.
“Well, let the party decide who their candidates are,” he said.
