Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has been declared the 2027 presidential flag bearer of the African Action Congress (AAC).
The declaration was made during the party’s presidential primaries held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Sowore emerged as the party’s candidate after receiving unanimous endorsement from delegates and party leaders present at the event, reaffirming his influence within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Following his emergence, he was presented with the party’s flag in celebration of his victory at the primaries.
