Air pressure levels across Bulgaria are currently above the seasonal average and are expected to increase slightly further over the coming days.
Overnight conditions will remain clear with very calm weather. Saturday is expected to be predominantly sunny, although in the afternoon cumulus clouds will develop, especially over eastern Bulgaria and mountainous areas, where isolated showers are possible. Winds will be light, becoming moderate in eastern regions from the east-northeast. Daytime temperatures will range between 31°C and 36°C, with Sofia expected to reach around 31°C.
In the mountain regions, sunshine will dominate throughout the day, but cloud development is forecast after midday, bringing localized rainfall in some areas. A moderate northeast wind will persist. Temperatures will reach around 25°C at 1,200 meters altitude and about 17°C at 2,000 meters.
Along the Black Sea coast, mostly sunny conditions are expected. In the afternoon, cloud formation will occur mainly along the northern coastline, with scattered rain in places. Winds will be light to moderate from the east-northeast later in the day. Maximum temperatures will be between 27°C and 30°C. Sea water temperatures are expected to remain between 24°C and 25°C, with wave heights of 1 to 2 points.
