The Students’ Union of Osun State University (OSUSU) has demanded a thorough investigation into the tragic death of Miss Osunlakin Grace, a 400-level student of the Department of Criminology, amid mounting allegations that she was denied urgent medical care at the institution’s clinic during an asthma-related emergency.

In a statement signed by its President, Oremokun Shedrack Imoleayo, the union described Grace’s death as a painful and devastating loss that has shaken the university community and raised serious concerns among students, parents and other stakeholders.

The statement read, “We wish to state unequivocally that the Students’ Union is taking this matter very seriously and is engaging with the appropriate university authorities to ensure that a thorough investigation is conducted into the circumstances surrounding the incident."
