The Anambra State Police Command has commenced an investigation into the death of a 25-year-old female student whose body was discovered in Onitsha under circumstances suggesting a suspected suicide.
The deceased’s identity was withheld.
The incident, which reportedly occurred on June 18, has generated public attention following the circulation of a video showing residents and passersby gathered at the scene.
Police authorities said a handwritten note believed to have been left by the deceased was recovered during preliminary investigations.
