AGUSAN DEL SUR, Philippines – The funeral Mass for Ateneo basketball player Rene Clert Baterbonia is taking place on Wednesday morning, June 24, at the Talacogon Municipal Gymnasium in his hometown of Talacogon, Agusan del Sur.
Baterbonia’s wake had been held in the same gymnasium since his remains were brought home from his high school alma mater Ateneo de Davao University on June 16.
He will be the first person to be laid to rest at the new Talacogon Municipal Memorial Park on Wednesday.
