AGUSAN DEL SUR, Philippines – Fans of the late Ateneo basketball player Rene Clert Baterbonia from various parts of the Philippines pay their last respects to him on Tuesday, June 23, the last day of his wake in Talacogon, Agusan del Sur.
Joining the mourners are Baterbonia’s Ateneo de Davao Senior High School coach and teammates, PBA players Scottie Thompson and Nards Pinto, and actress Sofia Andres.
The Talacogon municipal government also announces that it has declared June 8 of every year as Rene Clert Baterbonia Day.
