In areas controlled by the Joint Forces Task Force, hostilities have intensified significantly, indicating that Russian troops' current actions constitute a large-scale offensive campaign.

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, this was reported on television by Joint Forces Task Force spokesperson Viktor Tregubov.

“Across all the sectors under our control, there has been a sharp intensification. This applies to the Lyman sector, but also to others: the Kupiansk, Southern Slobozhanshchyna, and Northern Slobozhanshchyna sectors. The Russians are also trying to act more aggressively there,” he said.

Tregubov added that the rise in the number of combat clashes and Russian troop casualties evidences the increase in the intensity of hostilities. In particular, up to 37 combat engagements may occur daily in the Joint Forces Task Force’s area of responsibility, with about 20 of them occurring in the Lyman sector alone, while the Russian army’s daily casualties across all sectors in the group’s area of responsibility amount to about 300 soldiers.

At the same time, according to his assessment, the current level of activity indicates that the Russian Federation has already launched an offensive campaign.
