Dejected Bulls players behind the poles following another Leinster try in Friday's URC Grand Final in Dublin.

The future of the Bulls remains bright, believes head coach Johan Ackermann, despite a fourth defeat in a United Rugby Championship (URC) final this past weekend.

A season of highs and lows ended on a sour note for the Loftus side after they failed to put up much of a fight against Leinster at Croke Park in Dublin on Friday, going down 36-7 in a one-sided affair in the Irish capital.

It was the second successive time the Irish giants had beaten the Bulls in a URC final, leaving the South Africans heading home disappointed and with their tails tucked firmly between their legs.

There was an expectation that the Bulls would at least put up a fight following their brilliant semi-final victory, but they exited the competition with a whimper and more questions than answers.
